<dc:description>In recent years, with the development of Internet technology, news texts on government websites have gradually become an important resource for recording local government communication, policy discourse and regional social development information. This article focuses on the Chinese news texts published on the websites of 16 county-level governments in the Amdo Tibetan region, and constructs a Chinese news dataset for the government websites of the Amdo Tibetan region with an overall time span from 2013 to 2024. The data collection is based on news web pages, and after steps such as text extraction, format cleaning, and topic classification, three types of data forms have been formed: the original collection record set of 62013, the text record set of 60327, and the topic classification record set of 57899. Compared with general news corpora, this dataset has clear regional, temporal, and traceable characteristics, which can provide basic data resources for the construction of Chinese news corpora for government websites in ethnic regions, research on regional policy discourse, and Chinese natural language processing tasks. </dc:description>
