The subjects wore a 64 lead EEG cap and recorded vertical eye electrical activity (VEOG) using two electrodes located above and below the left orbital forehead, while horizontal eye electrical activity (HEOG) was recorded using two electrodes located 1.5 cm outside the two eyes.
