<dc:title>Associative Representation and Rapid Evaluative Association of the Rule-of-Law Concept among University Students: Research Materials, Aggregate Data, and Analysis Code</dc:title>

<dc:description>This dataset accompanies the manuscript entitled Associative Representation and Rapid Evaluative Association of the Rule-of-Law Concept among University Students. Study 1 used a free-association task to examine semantic content that was readily retrieved when university students encountered the concept of the rule of law, with 267 current university students included in the analysis. In Study 2, 110 university students first completed a stimulus pretest, after which 60 participants from Study 1 completed an online Single Category Implicit Association Test (SC-IAT) designed to assess rapid evaluative associations with the rule-of-law concept. The current dataset contains aggregate results for the major free-association responses, overall SC-IAT results, exploratory group comparisons by gender, academic major, and task order, cross-task correlations between free-association indicators and SC-IAT D scores, the formal SC-IAT stimulus set, and analysis code for reproducing Welch degrees of freedom, effect sizes, and Benjamini-Hochberg multiple-comparison corrections. The current version contains no personally identifiable participant information and does not include reconstructed or simulated participant-level raw data derived from aggregate statistics. The dataset is intended to improve transparency and reproducibility and to provide reusable materials for research on the psychological representation, rapid evaluation, and measurement of rule-of-law literacy among university students.</dc:description>
