2025-10-13 Revising and validating the psychological resilience scale for Chinese drivers doi:10.57760/sciencedb.j00052.00164 en This study aimed to culturally adapt the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) for Chinese drivers and evaluate its reliability and validity. Through a three-phase validation process: 1) item screening via item analysis and exploratory factor analysis (EFA), 2) structural validation using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and 3) comprehensive reliability and validity assessments. The results showed that the 24-item Driver Resilience Scale for Chinese drivers had good discrimination, reliability and validity, both EFA and CFA consistently supported a four-factor structure.
