<dc:title>The process and mechanisms of territorial spatial gaming in Jiangsu province from the perspective of major function-oriented zoning</dc:title>

<dc:description>In the context of China's ongoing efforts to modernize territorial spatial governance, a scientific understanding of the evolutionary mechanisms of territorial spatial gaming under the major function-oriented zoning (MFOZ) system is crucial for advancing this reform. This study develops an analytical framework built around three core dimensions, namely quantity, pattern, and function, to unravel the complex, dynamic gaming relationships among urban, agricultural, and ecological spaces. Taking Jiangsu province as a case study, we coupled land use and socio-economic data spanning 2005-2023 with a multiscale geographically weighted regression (MGWR) model to capture spatial non-stationarity and systematically elucidate the spatiotemporal dynamics and driving mechanisms of territorial spatial gaming at the county level. </dc:description>
