<dc:description>The aim of this study is to clarify the influence of Co CoOx interfaces reconstructed from Co3O4 precursors with different morphologies on the CO2 hydrogenation performance, elucidate the structure-activity relationship between morphology and properties, and provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for the design of efficient Co based catalysts for CO2 hydrogenation. This article uses hydrothermal synthesis method to prepare Co based catalysts with different morphologies, and explores the influence of three different morphologies of Co3O4 reconstructed Co catalysts on the activity and selectivity of CO2 hydrogenation reaction. The results showed that the Co catalyst reconstructed from nanorods Co3O4 (r-Co3O4) had the highest activity and good stability, while the Co catalysts reconstructed from cubic Co3O4 (c-Co3O4) and octahedral Co3O4 (o-Co3O4) had relatively lower activity. The catalyst was analyzed using characterization methods such as XRD, HR-TEM, XPS, H2-TPR, synchrotron radiation, CO2-TPD, and in-situ infrared spectroscopy. Different morphologies of Co3O4 precursors affected the reduction of Co species due to the different exposed crystal planes, forming Co CoOx interfaces with different structures. The Co catalyst reconstructed from r-Co3O4 is more likely to form a Co CoOx interface during the reaction process, enhancing the adsorption and activation ability of CO2 and H2, thereby improving the catalytic activity of CO2 hydrogenation reaction. </dc:description>
