<dc:title>Synthesis of Hierarchical EU-1 Zeolites via the &amp;ldquo;Bond-blocking&amp;rdquo; Method and Their Catalytic Performance in n-Dodecane Hydroisomerization</dc:title>

  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>Hierarchical EU-1 zeolites were successfully synthesized via a hydrothermal route, with dimethyloctadecyl[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ammonium chloride (TPOAC) serving as a bond-blocking agent for silicon source modification. XRD, SEM, N2 adsorption-desorption, Py-IR and NH3-TPD were employed to systematically characterize the as-prepared samples. The effects of silicon sources with varying silylation degrees on the crystallinity, silica-alumina ratio, acidic properties and textural characteristics of EU-1 zeolites were thoroughly investigated. It was found that as the silicon source modification degree increased, the pore size and external specific surface area of the zeolites increased remarkably, mesopores were effectively introduced, and the total acid content decreased concurrently. The Pt-based bifunctional catalyst prepared using synthesized EU-1 zeolite as the acidic support exhibits good catalytic activity, high isomer product selectivity, and in the hydroisomerization reaction of n-dodecane.</dc:description>
