<dc:title>Construction of Lewis Acid-Base Core-Shell Catalyst for CO2 Cycloaddition Reaction under Mild Conditions</dc:title>

<dc:description>The organic imine polymer (TP) was immobilized on the surface of the metal-organic framework (MOF) material UiO-66 using a supramolecular self-assembly method, successfully preparing a core-shell structured Lewis acid-base bifunctional catalyst TP@UiO-66. Its catalytic performance in the cycloaddition reaction of carbon dioxide (CO2) with epichlorohydrin (ECH) was systematically investigated. The chemical structure of the material was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results confirmed that TP was successfully loaded on the UiO-66 skeleton. The results of powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and N2 adsorption/desorption tests showed that the TP coating process did not destroy the crystal structure and open channels of UiO-66. The results of catalytic performance show that Zr4+ on the skeleton of the composite material acts as a Lewis acid site to polarize and activate ECH, while the rich C=N and-NH-functional groups in the TP skeleton of the coating layer act as Lewis basic sites to effectively adsorb and activate CO2 molecules. In addition, the TP terminal group -NH2 can act as an H bond donor to form a hydrogen bond with the O atom of the epoxide, thereby promoting its activation. The synergistic effect of multiple sites promotes the efficient formation of allyl chloride carbonate from CO2 and ECH under mild conditions (atmospheric pressure, 90°C, solvent-free, co-catalyst-free). The product yield can reach 91% after 24h of reaction, and the crystal structure and catalytic activity of the catalyst remain stable after 5 cycles, showing excellent catalytic performance and stability.</dc:description>
