<dc:title>Conversion characteristics of asphaltenes under mild liquefaction conditions</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.j00124.00543</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset originates from experimental research on the hydroconversion characteristics of asphaltenes under mild direct coal liquefaction conditions. All liquefaction experiments were performed in a 35 mL tubing-bomb microreactor. The experimental feedstock was asphaltene (PAA) extracted from coal direct liquefaction flash evaporation residue, including further separation to obtain asphaltene (AS) and preasphaltene (PA).&amp;nbsp; The liquefaction reaction was operated at 450 &amp;deg;C with an isothermal holding time of 1 h. &amp;gamma;-FeOOH was used as the hydrogenation catalyst and tetralin as the hydrogen-donor solvent, and the initial hydrogen pressure covered the range of 4&amp;ndash;7 MPa.The dataset is divided into two parts. The first part is an Excel summary sheet that indexes all experimental data records. The second part contains Excel files with full datasets and editable Origin project files. These files cover ultimate elemental analysis of raw materials, quantitative calculation of liquefaction product distribution, hydrogen consumption computation, structural characterization of intermediate products and other relevant data, which fully support all research conclusions in the corresponding paper.</dc:description>
