<dc:title>A magnetic N-doped graphene photocatalyst for fast tetracycline degradation DataSet</dc:title>

<dc:description>A novel nitrogen doped graphene material loaded with magnetic nanoparticles (Fe and Fe3C) was synthesized from g-C3N4 and Fe (C5H5) 2. This material can rapidly degrade tetracycline in aqueous solution under visible light irradiation. Scanning electron microscopy shows that the material has a folded sheet-like graphene structure, and a large number of nanoparticles are observed on the graphene sheets. Raman spectroscopy indicates the presence of significant defects in the material, which can suppress the recombination of photo generated electron hole pairs. The performance and degradation mechanism of the photocatalyst were verified through a series of optical and electrochemical experiments as well as theoretical calculations. The photocatalyst achieved a degradation efficiency of 97.1% for tetracycline within two hours under visible light irradiation, which is superior to other reported photocatalysts. Mechanism studies have shown that tetracycline can be rapidly degraded into CO2, H2O, and other inorganic small molecules, with holes (h ⁺) being the main active component. This photocatalyst has excellent stability and reusability, and can be easily recovered through an external magnetic field. </dc:description>
