<dc:description>Dataset for "Micrometer-Scale Carbon Skeleton Optimization Enables Low-Expansion Silicon-Carbon Composites for High-Performance Lithium-Ion Batteries". This dataset comprises the relevant plotting data and raw data, which have been systematically organized and categorized according to their appearance in the main text or the Supporting Information. The testing contents encompass two major aspects: physicochemical characterization of the materials and electrochemical performance evaluation. Specifically, the physicochemical data include conventional characterization techniques such as particle size distribution, specific surface area (BET), scanning electron microscopy (SEM, commissioned to an external facility), transmission electron microscopy (TEM, commissioned to an external facility), and Raman spectroscopy, as well as less conventional evaluation methods developed in our company, including crush strength testing, gas evolution analysis, powder resistivity measurement, and electrode swelling test. On the electrochemical test, the evaluation covers coin-type cells (with coin-cell tests including specific capacity, initial Coulombic efficiency, and cycling stability tested in our company, while high-temperature and low-temperature coin-cell tests were commissioned to an external facility) and pouch cells, representing different levels of electrochemical testing.</dc:description>
