2026-07-29 Checklist of angiosperm species in sub-Saharan Africa: a comprehensive dataset for floristic regionalization doi:10.57760/sciencedb.j00143.00143 en This dataset comprises a comprehensive checklist of 33,184 angiosperm species recorded across sub-Saharan Africa (mainland south of 20° N, excluding Madagascar and Comoros). Occurrence records were integrated from multiple sources including GBIF, RAINBIO, iDigBio, and the East African Flora database. Taxonomic names were standardized against the World Checklist of Vascular Plants (WCVP) using the R package U.Taxonstand.
