<dc:title>Nodal Pressure Time Histories and Supporting Figure Data for Hypersonic Droplet Impact on a Deformable Solid</dc:title>

<dc:description>This dataset supports the article “Prediction of Pressure Characteristics in Deformable Solids Under Hypersonic Droplet Impact.” It consists of nodal pressure time-history data and supporting figure files.(1) The Simulation Data.csv file contains pressure-time curves for selected nodes extracted from a coupled SPH–FEM model in LS-DYNA. The recorded time interval is approximately 0–3.0 μs. Time is measured in seconds, and pressure is measured in MPa. These data reflect the transient pressures at the nodes, water hammer pressure peaks, unloading response, and pressure propagation when a 2-mm water droplet impacts 7075-T6 aluminum alloy at a velocity of Ma = 5.(2) The file “figure.zip” contains 27 source JPG images corresponding to Figs. 1–10 in this paper. These images cover the liquid-solid impact process, the hypersonic impact test setup, high-speed photography sequences, impact crater morphology, numerical models, and the evolution of stress, displacement, and pressure fields. The dataset can be used to verify the nodal pressure time histories, peak pressure, pressure propagation characteristics, and principal graphical results reported in the article. It may also provide reference data for related studies of hypersonic droplet impact on deformable solids.</dc:description>
