<dc:description>This dataset provides supplementary materials and supporting data associated with the manuscript entitled "Genomic remodeling accompanies the evolution of diurnal specialization in Sataspes xylocoparis."The deposited materials include: (1) significant gene-family size changes inferred by CAFE5 on the S. xylocoparis terminal branch, together with curated functional annotations (Supplementary Data Set 1); (2) positive-selection statistics, gene-tree topology test results, functional annotations, and protein domain architectures for 14 candidate positively selected genes (Supplementary Data Set 2); (3) the corresponding coding sequences (CDS) and protein sequences (PEP) of these 14 genes (Supplementary Data Set 3); and (4) supplementary figures and tables documenting genome assembly and annotation, phylogenomics, divergence-time estimation, gene-family evolution, and comparative evolutionary analyses. These resources support the reproducibility and further evaluation of the genomic analyses conducted in the study. They provide a comparative framework for investigating lineage-associated gene-family changes, candidate signatures of positive selection, and genomic variation potentially associated with diel-niche specialization in hawkmoths, while providing a foundation for future functional validation.</dc:description>
