<dc:description>Two thin filamentous cyanobacteria strains were successfully isolated from the soil crust in Harbin city, China. These strains are morphologically similar to species of the genus Amazoninema. Based on the similarity of the 16S rRNA gene sequences, the strains showed 100% similarity to the genus Amazoninema. Microscopic images and molecular sequences of this genus have been submitted this time.</dc:description>
