<dc:title>An Improved Watershed Algorithm for Micropore Identification in Nuclear Track Membranes</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.j00177.00019</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>As a kind of membrane material occupying an important position in the field of materials, nuclear track membrane has shown wide application value in many fields such as gas separation, cell filtration, sewage treatment and so on due to its unique pore characteristics. With the wide application of nuclear track membrane in various fields, how to detect its quality efficiently and accurately has become a new problem. Traditional hole number detection methods usually rely on manual observation or simple image processing. These methods are inefficient and difficult to meet the needs of modern production. In order to solve these problems, an image processing method based on improved watershed algorithm is designed. Firstly, the image is denoised by cascade filter to effectively remove largescale noise and improve the accuracy of subsequent segmentation processing. Then, the improved watershed algorithm is used for image segmentation to accurately identify the pores on the membrane surface. Through this method, the rapid identification of micropores can be realized, which greatly improves the recognition efficiency and has high robustness and accuracy. The experimental results show that the technology can effectively improve the speed of the detection of the number of holes in the nuclear track membrane, and the accuracy rate is relatively improved. It can achieve faster and more accurate micro-pore identification and analysis of the etched nuclear track membrane, and provides an efficient solution for the quality inspection of nuclear track membrane products.</dc:description>
