2026-10-10 Multivariate detector-response analysis for Compton-imaging neutron capture measurements with i-TED doi:10.57760/sciencedb.j00186.0010g en This dataset contains the numerical source data supporting the figures and tables in the manuscript “Multivariate event selection for improved statistical efficiency in i-TED neutron capture measurements at CSNS Back-n”.The data include simulated geometric-selection distributions, measured time-of-flight spectra, event-retention comparisons, selected Au neutron-energy spectra, proton-normalized background-subtracted weighted responses, reconstructed 197Au(n,γ) cross sections and their standard uncertainties, the ENDF/B-VIII.0 reference curve, Pb background back-projection maps, and 209Bi weak-signal simulation spectra and selection-performance curves. The values reported in Tables 1–3 are also included.The package contains 20 CSV data files, accompanied by a file index and a column dictionary specifying variable definitions and units. Original plotting coordinates, energy-bin boundaries and available uncertainties are retained to support inspection and reproduction of the reported figures.
