<dc:title>Jet and hadron nuclear modification factors from a unified LBT model framework</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.j00186.01031</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset provides numerical results for jet and hadron production in proton-proton (pp) and lead-lead (Pb-Pb) collisions. All pp results are generated using Pythia 8, serving as the vacuum baseline. The Pb-Pb results are calculated using the Linear Boltzmann Transport (LBT) model, which simulates parton propagation and interaction within a dynamically evolving medium. Within the LBT framework, a unified parameter set is applied across all species, including inclusive jets, charged jets, b-jets, c-jets, and identified hadrons (charged hadrons, B-mesons, and D-mesons).The dataset includes Pb-Pb collision results at 0-10% and 0-80% centralities. A key feature is the inclusion of the medium scale variable ($Q_M$) with values of 0.5 GeV, 1.0 GeV, and 2.0 GeV, each associated with corresponding values of the strong coupling constant ($\alpha_s$). Specifically, for the case where $Q_M = 2.0$ GeV, results for two distinct $\alpha_s$ values are provided to represent the upper and lower bounds of the coupling strength. Furthermore, AA results calculated using a colorless scheme are provided for comparison with the results based on color tracking. The nuclear modification factor ($R_{AA}$) is obtained by calculating the ratio of the Pb-Pb (AA) results from LBT to the corresponding pp baseline from Pythia 8.The data are stored in a two-column tabular format (ASCII text). Each table consists of rows representing different transverse momentum ($p_T$) intervals. The first column denotes the $p_T$ bin center (unit: GeV/$c$), and the second column provides the corresponding production value. Statistical uncertainty columns are not included in these files. The results are stored in standard text format and can be processed using common analysis tools such as Python, ROOT, or Origin. No specialized software is required for data access.</dc:description>
