<dc:title>Effect of the spin-orbit interaction on the structure and two-proton radioactivity of 18Mg</dc:title>

<dc:description>The influence of the spin-orbit coupling strength (W) on the structure and two-proton (2p) radioactivity of 18Mg is examined using the spherical Skyrme-Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (SHFB) approach and a mean-field cluster potential framework. In the SHFB calculations, a HFBRAD code with the SLy4 interaction and mixed pairing force is employed. Moreover, the spherical box and mesh sizes are selected as 20 fm and 0.1 fm, respectively. The quasiparticle energies are cut off at 60 MeV. The maximum angular momenta of the quasi-neutron and quasi-proton are set to be 39/2 ℏand 25/2 ℏ, respectively. All the calculations are converged with these conditions. By the SHFB calculations, the single-proton energy spectra, proton density distributions of the individual orbitals near the Fermi energies, 2p decay energies (Q2p), spectroscopic factors versus different W values can be calculated. Then, within the mean-field cluster potential approach, the diproton cluster potentials with different W values are extracted. Finally, using the Wenzel-Kramers-Brillouin approximation by inputting different Q2p values, the 2p decay half-lives with and without the spectroscopic factors versus different W values are obtained. </dc:description>
