<dc:title>Urban road dust risk assessment based on resilience governance.</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.j00204.00015</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset provides essential data for assessing the nationwide pollution risk associated with urban road dust and for constructing corresponding governance frameworks. It synthesizes relevant studies published between 2000 and 2023, encompassing 31 major Chinese cities (including municipalities and special administrative regions), with a focus on road dust particles smaller than 920 micrometers. The dataset specifically includes:1.&amp;nbsp;Statistical data on the concentrations of Arsenic (As), Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Copper (Cu), Mercury (Hg), Nickel (Ni), Lead (Pb), Zinc (Zn), and common organic compounds in road dust across China. This encompasses the number of studies, sampling points, mean values, standard errors, and exceedance rates.2.&amp;nbsp;Pollution assessment results and spatial distribution maps based on the geo-accumulation index (Igeo) and the potential ecological risk index (RI).3.&amp;nbsp;Non-carcinogenic risk (HQ/HI) and carcinogenic risk (CR/TR) assessment results for both children and adults, calculated using the health risk model recommended by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The assessment covers three exposure pathways: hand-to-mouth ingestion, dermal contact, and inhalation.4.&amp;nbsp;Correlation analysis and significance test results among the indicators within the urban road dust risk evaluation index system.5.&amp;nbsp;The constructed urban road dust risk evaluation index system based on the Pressure-State-Response (PSR) model, along with the calculated indicator weights and the final risk clustering and classification results.</dc:description>
