2025-07-12 The RNA-seq data of taplt muant root for the article "Functional characterization of the effects of gene TaPLT8 on iron distribution in different wheat organs" doi:10.57760/sciencedb.j00210.00042 en Wheat seeds (cultivar ‘Fielder’ and transgenic lines) for hydroponic experiments were surface sterilized for 30 min in 10% H2O2, followed by five rinses with distilled water, and germinated on wet filter paper in darkness at 16 ℃ for four days. The seedings were then placed in Hoagland’s nutrient solution with the following composition: 4 mmol L−1 Ca(NO3)2, 6 mmol L−1 KNO3, 1 mmol L−1 NH4H2PO4, 2 mmol L−1 MgSO4, 10 mmol L−1 H3BO3, 1.8 mmol L−1 MnSO4, 5 mmol L−1 ZnSO4, 0.31 mmol L−1 CuSO4, 0.2 mmol L−1 NaMoO4, and 50 mmol L−1 EDTA-Fe(III), pH = 6.0, and the solutions were renewed every 3 days.
