<dc:title>Impact of uncertainty of nuclear mass predictions on &amp;beta;-decay half-lives and neutron-capture rates</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.j00213.00222</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>r-process simulations involve various nuclear decay and reaction data, such as nuclear &amp;alpha;-decay, &amp;beta;-decay, neutron-induced reactions, and photonuclear reactions. Among these, beta-decay half-lives and neutron capture rates are indispensable nuclear physics input quantities for dynamic simulations of the r-process. However, the majority of these nuclear properties and reaction data cannot yet be measured accurately experimentally, and thus rely solely on theoretical predictions. Based on ten mass tables, the &amp;beta;-decay half-lives and neutron-capture rates are calculated by the &amp;beta;-decay half-life semi-empirical formula and TALYS code, respectively. Files named in the format &amp;quot;beta-decay_half-life_&amp;quot; + &amp;quot;mass model name&amp;quot; store &amp;beta;-decay half-life data (the data format is text (.txt)), which are calculated based on the corresponding mass model. Similarly, files following the naming convention &amp;quot;neutron-capture_rate_&amp;quot; + &amp;quot;mass model name&amp;quot; contain neutron-capture rate data (the data format is text (.txt)).</dc:description>
