<dc:title>The data of “Research progress on spectral modulation and sensing applications of Bragg-grating-assisted microring resonators”</dc:title>

<dc:description>This dataset consists of three tables that sort out the research content layer by layer from structural mechanisms, sensing routes and performance parameters, forming a complete data system. Table 1 classifies two types of microring structures according to the integration position of gratings, and compares their physical mechanisms, spectral effects, pros and cons of fabrication processes as well as application characteristics, clarifying the essential differences between the two schemes. Table 2 divides the sensing technologies into two routes of lineshape modulation and FSR expansion based on application requirements, and illustrates their respective principles, solved technical bottlenecks and application scenarios. Table 3 summarizes research achievements of representative devices over the years, listing quantitative indicators including structure types, spectral effects, Q factors, sensitivity, limit of detection and FSR to intuitively reflect technological evolution and performance gaps. These three logically progressive and complementary tables first classify structures and analyze principles, then connect with practical sensing applications, and finally evaluate overall performance via quantitative data. They systematically present the research status, technical strengths and existing problems of grating-assisted microring resonators, providing comprehensive data references for device design, selection and follow-up research.</dc:description>
