2026-09-24 A brain-region-resolved untargeted metabolomics dataset of prolonged sleep disruption in mice doi:10.57760/sciencedb.nb.00065 en We present a brain-region-resolved untargeted metabolomics dataset comprising the cerebral cortex, hypothalamus, midbrain, and pons collected from mice following 4 days of chronic sleep disruption. All four brain regions were dissected from the same animals and analyzed in a single LC–MS batch, generating 48 biological samples that enable direct cross-region comparisons while minimizing batch effects. A total of 684 annotated metabolites were identified, of which 670 were consistently detected across all brain regions and samples.
