<dc:title>A dataset of chemical constituents in different parts of Clerodendrum cyrtophyllum Turcz</dc:title>

<dc:description>In view of the current situation of insufficient systematicness in the study of chemical constituents of Clerodendrum cyrtophyllum Turcz, this study used UPLC-Orbitrap-MS/MS technology to systematically and comprehensively analyze and compare the chemical constituents of the four medicinal parts of C. cyrtophyllum, including root, stem, branch and leaf. A total of 60 compounds were identified, including 39 in root, 13 in stem, 19 in branch and 21 in leaf. These compounds are mainly divided into phenylethanoid glycosides, flavonoids, terpenoids, steroids and other types, which comprehensively cover the main chemical composition categories of C. cyrtophyllum. The study revealed the specific distribution of chemical components in different medicinal parts for the first time : phenylethanoid glycosides are mainly enriched in root, flavonoids are mainly distributed in leaf, and terpenoids and steroids are more present in stem and branch. The distribution characteristics of this dataset show that there is obvious tissue specificity in the accumulation of chemical components in different parts of C. cyrtophyllum, which provides key data support for the positioning of active ingredients, the selection of medicinal parts and the differential quality control.</dc:description>
