<dc:title>Exploring the therapeutic mechanism of Patrinia villosa on metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis in mice based on transcriptomics and molecular docking</dc:title>

<dc:description>The aim of this study is to investigate the mechanism by which Patrinia villosa extract (PVE) improves metabolic steatohepatitis (MASH). A high-fat and high sugar diet combined with fructose water was used to establish a MASH mouse model. Forty C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into a normal control group, a model group, a low-dose group of Scutellaria baicalensis (0.17 g/kg), a high-dose group of Scutellaria baicalensis (0.34 g/kg), and an obeticolic acid group, and treated continuously for 8 weeks. Detect serum liver function indicators, blood lipid levels, oxidative stress indicators, and inflammatory factors; HE staining and Oil Red O staining were used to observe the pathological changes in the liver; Transcriptome sequencing analysis of differentially expressed genes; Western blot validation of core target protein expression; Molecular docking predicts the binding mode between active ingredients and target proteins. </dc:description>
