<dc:title>Study on the Alkaloid Constituents of Aconitum franchetii Finet et Gagnep.-raw data</dc:title>

  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>&amp;nbsp; To investigate the chemical constituents of Aconitum franchetii Finet et Gagnep., the total alkaloids from its roots were prepared by acid extraction and alkali precipitation, followed by separation and purification using silica gel column chromatography. Seventeen alkaloids were isolated and identified by spectroscopic methods, including HR-ESI-MS, IR, 1D NMR and 2D NMR. These compounds comprised one new aconitine-type C19-diterpenoid alkaloid, 14-O-trans-cinnamoylindaconine (1), together with sixteen known compounds, namely villosutine (2), yunaconitine (3), chasmathinine (4), leucanthumsine B (5), franchetine (6), indaconitine (7), chasmaconitine (8), mesaconitine (9), foresticine (10), bikhaconine (11), 8-dehydroxyl-bikhaconine (12), chasmanine (13), talatisamine (14), acoforine (15), ezochasmanine (16), and N-methyllaurotetanine (17). Compounds 3, 5, 9&amp;ndash;13, 15, and 17 were isolated from Aconitum franchetii for the first time. The inhibitory effects of compounds 1&amp;ndash;3 against HepG2 hepatocellular carcinoma cells were evaluated by the MTT assay. The results showed that all tested compounds exhibited no obvious antitumor activity at 50 &amp;mu;mol/L.</dc:description>
