<dc:title>Quality evaluation of Nardostachyos Radix et Rhizoma based on UPLC fingerprint and component content determination-raw data</dc:title>

<dc:description>Construct the UPLC fingerprint of Gansong medicinal herb and establish a method for simultaneously determining the content of seven components in the herb. UPLC was used to establish the fingerprint of Gansong, and chemometric studies were conducted by combining similarity evaluation, cluster analysis (HCA), and principal component analysis (PCA). The fingerprint spectra of 31 batches of Gansong medicinal materials were calibrated with a total of 17 common peaks, identifying 7 components including chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, isochlorogenic acid A, isochlorogenic acid C, paeoniflorin, Gansong ketone, and cryptotanshinone. The similarity of the sample fingerprint spectra ranged from 0.825 to 0.999, and chemometric analysis classified the samples into 3 categories. The contents of the seven components are 0.043~0.399%, 0.006~0.044%, 0.001~0.045%, 0.004~0.023%, 0.056~0.270%, 0.916~3.481%, and 0.026~0.090%, respectively. The established qualitative and quantitative methods are simple, fast, and stable, and can be used for rapid qualitative and quantitative evaluation of Gansong medicinal materials, providing reference for the quality control and evaluation of this medicinal material. </dc:description>
