<dc:description>The dried aboveground parts of Chuanxinlian are used as medicine, and diterpenoid lactones and flavonoids are the main material basis for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, hepatoprotective, anticancer, and immune regulating properties. This study used targeted and non targeted screening strategies to detect and identify metabolites in different parts of the leaves, stems, roots, and other parts of Houttuynia cordata. 48, 54, and 58 metabolites were identified, involving diterpenoid lactones, flavonoids, phenylpropanoids, and other types. A dataset of metabolites in different parts of Houttuynia cordata plants was established. Based on the content determination results, a dataset was established for the content of four main components in different parts of the leaves, stems, and roots of Chuanxinlian. The data results were uploaded to a public database in xlsx format, and the dataset system displayed the quality characteristics of Houttuynia cordata, providing data reference for quality control, in-depth exploration of functional components, and effective utilization of Houttuynia cordata medicinal materials. </dc:description>
