<dc:description>Based on network pharmacology and molecular docking technology, the regulatory effect and mechanism of berberine (BBR) on fat deposition in type 2 diabetes (T2DM) rats were explored by combining in vivo experiments. Using the TCMSP database to search for BBR targets, gene targets for T2DM were screened based on databases such as TTD and GeneCards. Core targets were identified through protein-protein interaction networks, and GO and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses were performed to construct an "active ingredient target pathway" network for molecular docking validation. A T2DM rat model was established by feeding high-fat diet combined with intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin. The rats were randomly divided into a blank control group, a model group, a metformin group (200 mg/kg), a low-dose BBR group (50 mg/kg), a medium dose BBR group (100 mg/kg), and a high-dose BBR group (200 mg/kg) using a random number table method, with 10 rats in each group. Regularly measure fasting blood glucose (FBG) in rat serum; ELISA method was used to detect the levels of fasting insulin (FINS) and glycated hemoglobin (GHb) in rat serum; The fully automated biochemical analyzer detects the levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in serum; HE staining method was used to observe the pathological morphological changes of adipose tissue; Observation of lipid deposition in liver cells using Oil Red O staining method; Western blot and immunohistochemical staining (IHC) were used to detect the expression location and amount of proteins related to fat deposition in adipose tissue. The table data includes changes in OTT, IGTT, rat body mass, liver related biochemical indicators, as well as oil red O, immunohistochemistry, and WB data collected using grayscale software; The image data is a multiple of 40x, and the original data of WB is missing due to reasons such as cycle time, which may cause damage and loss of mentor data </dc:description>
