<dc:title>Algorithmic Informational Support, Work Control, and Daily Behavior-Oriented Job Crafting among Gig Workers</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.psych.01009</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset supports research on perceived algorithmic information support and gig workers&amp;rsquo; daily service performance. The study focuses on food-delivery riders and uses an experience sampling design to track participants across multiple working days, yielding 1,034 daily observations from 126 riders. The dataset includes daily measures of perceived algorithmic information support, work control, approach-oriented behavioral job crafting, avoidance-oriented behavioral job crafting, service performance, perceived algorithmic control, and algorithmic avoidance behavior, together with person-level measures such as need for cognition, proactive personality, algorithmic literacy, and demographic characteristics. The data can be used to examine how perceived algorithmic information support, as an external informational resource, is associated with daily service performance through daily work control and approach-oriented behavioral job crafting, as well as how need for cognition moderates the transformation of external informational resources into psychological resources.</dc:description>
