<dc:title>Dataset of "Repeated Visual Adaptation Induces Persistent Behavioral and Neural Biases in Body Size Perception"</dc:title>

<dc:description>This dataset contains experimental data regarding long-term body-size adaptation, consisting of three separate experiments.Experiment 1 was an EEG experiment examining long-term adaptation. Forty female participants were recruited, with 20 assigned to the contracted-body adaptation group and the remaining 20 to the expanded-body adaptation group; EEG signals were acquired before and after the adaptation procedure for all participants.Experiment 2 was a behavioral experiment in which 22 female participants were enrolled. The method of constant stimuli was used to quantify participants’ perceived body size before and after a single adaptation session.Experiment 3 focused on 36 professional dancers and performers, from whom both behavioral data on body-size perception and matching EEG data were collected simultaneously.</dc:description>
