2025-10-13 Typhoon high wind speed inversion data of synthetic aperture radar of GF-3 satellite doi:10.57760/sciencedb.space.03147 en Based on the characteristics of the backscattering coefficient of domestically produced C-band synthetic aperture radar, an empirical cross polarization geophysical model function was constructed using SMAP satellite high wind speed data, and applied to the inversion of typhoon high wind speed using synthetic aperture radar. The inversion results show that the empirical cross polarization geophysical model function can invert strong typhoons with extremely high wind speeds of over 50m/s.
